I 290 should have dedicated bicycle lanes. There’s no reason why people cannot commute the 1-12 miles downtown via bicycle 9-10 months of the year. This would be revolutionary for the health of our greater community. Build it and they will come.
When will a air quality/noise study be done around the Eisenhower in our community? This should guide any redesign of the expressway.
Air quality and noise analyses will be completed as part of the environmental impact statement (EIS)that is being prepared for the Eisenhower study.
